The Legacy Behind The Peralta Foundation
The Peralta Foundation was established in honor of Richard Peralta, father of Dominic Peralta, a veteran, lifelong martial artist, and servant leader whose life was defined by teaching, mentorship, and inclusion. Richard dedicated decades to training others in the martial arts discipline of Kajukembo, both during and after his 20 years of service in the United States Air Force. Whether teaching in a small warehouse, his own home, or wherever space allowed, he never turned away a student due to cost.
His belief that access to training, guidance, and community should never be limited by financial circumstances shaped the values that guide the Foundation today.
Inspired by this legacy, Dominic and Gina Peralta founded House of Hustle as a youth sports training program rooted in discipline, growth, and belonging. As the program grew, so did the need to formally remove financial barriers for families. This led to the establishment of The Peralta Foundation, ensuring Richard’s spirit of generosity, mentorship, and service continues to expand access and opportunity for youth.
