About The Peralta Foundation
The Peralta Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to removing financial barriers to youth sports participation while strengthening community connection through access, opportunity, and giving. We deliver our programs through House of Hustle, a community based initiative offering youth sports training, scholarships, and developmental opportunities.
Our Mission
The Peralta Foundation provides financial assistance for youth athletes and supports community events that bring people together through giving and connection.
Why We Exist
Youth sports have increasingly become pay-to-play, limiting access for families facing financial barriers. The Peralta Foundation exists to ensure that cost does not determine a young person’s ability to participate, develop, and belong in structured athletic environments.
How We Work
Our work is grounded in accessibility, structure, and accountability. Programs are delivered through House of Hustle and intentionally designed to integrate skill development, participation, and financial assistance while leveraging partnerships to expand reach and impact.
The Legacy Behind The Peralta Foundation
The Peralta Foundation was established in honor of Richard Peralta, a veteran, lifelong martial artist, and servant leader whose life was defined by teaching, mentorship, and inclusion.
Richard dedicated decades to training others in the martial arts discipline of Kajukembo, both during and after his 20 years of service in the United States Air Force. Whether teaching in a small warehouse, his own home, or wherever space allowed, he never turned away a student due to cost.
His belief that access to training, guidance, and community should never be limited by financial circumstances shaped the values that guide the Foundation today.
Inspired by this legacy, Dominic and Gina Peralta founded House of Hustle as a youth sports training program rooted in discipline, growth, and belonging. As the program grew, so did the need to formally remove financial barriers for families. This led to the establishment of The Peralta Foundation, ensuring Richard’s spirit of generosity, mentorship, and service continues to expand access and opportunity for youth.
Leadership & Organization
The Peralta Foundation is governed and operated by a leadership team with experience in youth development, athletics, and community-based programming. Oversight and program delivery are structured to ensure transparency, responsible stewardship, and long-term sustainability.
Our Commitment
We are committed to expanding equitable access to youth sports while strengthening community through partnership, support, and shared purpose.
